Hi Geri,
We
wanted to thank you so much for the amazing honeymoon trip you planned
for us in Moorea and Bora Bora. Everything was just magical. We
had a great time and it truly was a trip of a lifetime. Both accommodations
were great. In Moorea we had a hut that faced the sunset, and
in Bora Bora we were upgraded to a sapphire hut which gave us more of
a lagoon view which was fantastic. We have to admit that the Thalasso
Spa resort in Bora Bora was pure luxury - the huts were incredible.
Both
excursions were fun. We had a great time on the jeep safari in Moorea,
and also had a good time on the sting ray/shark feeding tour too even
though it poured with rain that day. The only feedback we have on the
boat trip was that the guides made a DVD of the tour which is a great
idea, but when we watched it we were hardly in it. We returned it and
got a refund (it was expensive at $150), so I thought just in case you
book that company for other customers, you might like to know so that
you can tell them to watch it before they leave to make sure they are
in it an equal amount compared to the other guests. Thankfully we had
a DVD player in the room and decided to watch it before we came home,
otherwise we would have been really disappointed.
We
also took your advise and went to dinner at Hono Iti on Moorea - it
was GREAT. And the stingrays beside the deck was an unexpected treat
to see too. In Bora Bora we went to Bloody Marys which was really fun,
and also saw the Heiva festival in Vaitepe - happens once a year in
June. It was really good. All in all, we had the best time, it couldn't
have been better.
Lastly, if you ever need a customer reference
we would be more than happy to be one for you. You were extremely helpful
and responsive during the time we were trying to decide where to go
and what to do for our honeymoon, and you really worked with us to make
it right for us. We really appreciated your flexibility and everything
went like clockwork on the trip.
Thank
you again.

Hi Geri.
I’m back from the fabulous honeymoon!
Everything went very smoothly. We got to the airport 3 ½ hours
before the flight, checked-in and waited around to board. The flight
went smoothly.. Ricky and I were too excited to sleep! When we got in
we were greeted and told exactly where to go. They took really good
care of us. We received an itinerary with all of the times we were going
to be picked up and from where. It was all very well organized. The
resort (Le Meridien) in Tahiti was really nice. Our room was pretty
big and ready for us. There was a bottle of champagne and a welcome
letter waiting! Very nice touch! Breakfast was great! We were picked
up exactly on time and taken to the airport. We checked in with no problems
and there was a lady there (I think her name is Lulu) telling us what
to expect in Moorea and about the excursions that were available etc.
She gave us some helpful tips. When we got to Moorea they were there
again to greet us and take our bags onto the bus. Then off we went to
the Sheraton. The resort was really beautiful!!! We got an amazing room!!!
It was #108. Very beautiful and more private than the other rooms. We
only had it for one night before being moved to room 83. We loved both
of the rooms. They were amazing!! We did some snorkeling, went on the
lagoonarium excursion, rented a buggy and rode all around the island,
did the safari 4x4 excursion, went to the Tiki Village to watch the
show and have dinner.. it was all really nice. We had an amazing time!
When
we were leaving to go to Bora Bora, again the bus was there to pick
us up on time! We were taken to the airport, we checked in and shortly
after, boarded the flight. It was not a very long flight.. we made a
short stop in Huahine, which we didn’t mind at all. When we reached
Bora Bora we could not believe the color of the water!! Our resort’s
boat was there to greet us and take us to the resort. When we finally
got to the resort we were overwhelmed at how beautiful it was!!!! I
almost cried when I saw how beautiful the room was!!! It was amazing!!!
I did not want to leave that room!! We had lunch out on our deck, went
swimming and did some snorkeling. We took some floats with us so we
blew those up and got into the lagoon. It was so nice and relaxing!!
I loved the color of the water!!! It was beautiful!!! We had an amazing
time in Bora Bora! We did the Funny Cat excursion and it was a blast!!
We did some kayaking here also. We also went over to the main island
for dinner at Bloody Mary’s. We loved the atmosphere there. The
restaurants at the IC Thalasso were really nice also. We loved the food!!
Everything about the resort was amazing!! The over-water bungalows were
way more beautiful than we had ever imagined!!! My husband was very
pleased and so was I! It was worth every penny!! Thank you for helping
us plan such an amazing honeymoon!!! Everything was well planned out
and everyone was very well organized. Your travel tips came in very
handy! Thank you! I’ll be sure to call you when we’re ready
to go back!
Thanks
again.

Hello
Geri,
Just wanted to let you know that the honeymoon
was WONDERFUL. Moorea was breathtaking. We rented a car and drove up
to Belvedere. Wallked around the rainforest for a while and checked
out the view. The bungalow was great. There were tons of fish to feed!
On Bora Bora we got the furthest bungalow out on the dock #34! Directly
facing the main island. WHAT A VIEW! Lots of fish in the daytime and
lots of sharks to feed at night. Anyways, it was amazing and we will
definately refer people to you in the future.
Thank you for arranging it all so fast,
YOU SAVED ME

Hi Geri,
Hope you had a very nice holiday!
Peter and I are finally getting back to our normal routines after the business of the holidays and an AMAZING honeymoon! We wanted to thank you for working with us to plan our dream honeymoon in Moorea! Everything was absolutely perfect and we made so many incredible memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We are still talking about Moorea and have already started planning a trip back for maybe a 5 or 10 year anniversary...of course we will come through you to plan this. ;)
We felt very prepared when we arrived in Papeete and our transfers to and from the hotels, etc. were very smooth and easy. Both the Intercontinental in Papeete and the Sheraton Moorea resorts were absolutely incredible and stunningly beautiful...they really took our breath away. We LOVED the Sheraton Moorea and will definitely plan to stay there when we return. For the most part, everyone was very friendly and helpful at the resort.
Both the Garden Bungalow and the Over-the-Water Bungalows were great. We loved that the rooms were modern and very cozy. We loved that each bungalow stood on its own and that we had so much privacy. Our favorite was the Over-the-Water bungalow and we would recommend to anyone traveling to Moorea that they splurge on this. It was very easy to break up our stay between the garden and OTW bungalows and the staff at the hotel made it very easy for us to transfer rooms.
The food was okay, we weren't to crazy at it but the buffet breakfast was great! We started our morning off with the buffet breakfast and then were able to eat a light lunch. We went to Alfredo's a couple of times and the food there was pretty good...the service was a little slow though. It was also nice to be picked up by the restaurants shuttle and then taken back to our hotel after the meal.
The safari was great but definitely not for those that get motion sickness or who are afraid of heights. We snorkeled everyday at our resort and it was some of the BEST snorkeling we have ever done. The fish were so colorful and it was so nice to be in a salt water lagoon...the water was very calm and shallow enough to stand. We swam with the dolphins at the Intercontinental Moorea and this was wonderful. We were able to have a hands on experience with the dolphins. For anyone that has never swam with the dolphins, we would highly recommend this. We mainly stuck to our resort and we spent a lot of time relaxing on the beach and in the water.
It rained heavily a couple of the days that we were there so we would highly recommend that other couples bring ponchos or some sort of rain jacket, etc. The rain was very heavy at times and we had not come prepared for rain.
Overall, our honeymoon was an 11 on a 1-10 scale! We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back!
Thanks for all of your help Geri and we hope you have a very Happy New Year!
Best regards.

Good morning Geri,
I received your Christmas card yesterday, and I dawned on me that I had not written to thank you since our return to the US, after our holiday of a lifetime trip to Tahiti.
We had a wonderful time, and we cannot thank you enough for all of your help and patience while we tried to get the trip organized, through a pretty tough year for us.
We would love to return to Tahiti, and when we do we will be back in contact with you.
All the best, have a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

Hi Len,
I write you from the Pora Pora Nui! As you know, no B in Tahitian, they have had some trouble with my name! We are having the time of our lives; literally just stepped off the TopDive boat where my wife Maureen finished her last of 4 open water dives and is now scuba certified, which is a big thing for her as she did her classroom work in Eden Prairie, not knowing where she would complete her openwater experience! Our 5 days on Fakarava was simply amazing; the simplicity of our small life on this tiny motu surronded by the beauty of untouched, no crowds or people, I guess the word isolation is what captured our souls. Everyday was an adventure, one day the entire lagoon was glass, no wind. Another day, we visited a remote pink sand beach exploring the remarkable tide pools and main barrier reef. The local fella's took me to a special reef, given a spearfish gun and shot a nice size Grouper to assist in the daily harvest of fish for dinner, which was the staple food every nite. I loved this however some guests were tired of it.
We then travelled to the Bora Bora Nui Resort and have had a wonderful time(we leave tomorrow) yet an opposite experience, very different than the one on that small motu in the Taumotu's. Big resort yet initimate feel with a fair amount of privacy; extremely luxurious (and of course expensive). We have one of those overwater bungalows and surprising amount of fish right under the bed! Went to a Heiva festival last nite witnessing local competition for traditional dancing...Wow, it was fabulous. Bicycled around the island and then pretty much have dived everyday. Yes, this island is commercialised yet not as bad as I may have expected and is sooo much cleaner than anything the Carribean has to offer. The contrast of mountain and water is indeed breathtaking, just as Geri said it would be. Saw my first sharkfeeding and have it taped so you have to see this when we get back.
I want to personally thank you for planting the seed for "this trip of a lifetime". She thought we were going back to Hawaii and needless to say, was thrilled when she saw the destination in LAX. After 25 yrs of marriage, can't think of a better place on this orb to celebrate our commitment to one another and, so again, thank you Len for sharing with me your own experience here. Glad to hear you are well and let me know if there is anything I can do for you. Until I see you later this yr., all the best. wju
PS Geri took very good care of us and we will use her Co. again
(and recommend).

Dear Geri,
What a fantastic trip we had to Hawaii and Tahiti! We wanted to take the time to thank you for all the arrangements you made for us. Everything
worked like clockwork on Oahu, Tahiti and Moorea. Although the Outrigger
Waikiki on the Beach in Oahu was wonderful, it couldn't compare to the
Intercontinental on Tahiti and Moorea. No wonder you stay there when
you go! Moorea is so incredibly beautiful and the people are unbelievably
friendly. We especially enjoyed our upgrade to an Overwater bungalow
the last two nights. The tip you gave us about flying to Moorea from Tahiti
and just taking the ferry to Tahiti for the day was great. We didn't have to haul any luggage! We spent the day in Tahiti on a jungle safari that was so much fun. Your Happy Camper's List with things to bring and
also some French and Tahitian words was extremely useful. And you
were right -using Tahitian words did bring a smile to the locals' faces,
especially when we rode the "Le Truck"!
We met several couples on Moorea that were astounded at the price we
paid for our trip. They weren't happy with their travel agents. As they
are planning to go back, we gave them your website. We met another couple in Hawaii who said they are planning a trip to Tahiti next year so they have your site as well. Hope you don't mind!
Although we had heard that many honeymoon couples go to Tahiti, we as babyboomers, didn't feel the least bit out of place. Everyone who can should experience Tahiti and her islands just once. It was truly the trip of lifetime. Thanks again so much for your help in making it so.
